Innovative school chaNge

Several strategies are available for whole school change. You should select an approach based on best practice, develop a theory of action, change strategy, and use implementation  and improvement science strategies.

Leading Change Effectively

Requires transformational leadership and peopling

Transformational leadership causes change in individuals and social systems and creates valuable and positive change in the followers with the end goal of developing followers into leaders

Demands evaluative thinking

Evaluative thinking is a disciplined approach to inquiry and reflective practice that helps us make sound judgements using good evidence, as a matter of habit. It is a cognitive process , motivated by an attitude of inquisitiveness and a belief in the value of evidence, that involves skills such as identifying assumptions, posing thoughtful questions, pursuing deeper understanding through reflection and perspective taking
